Become a Member of Okaloosa & Walton County League of Women
When you join the League of Women Voters of Okaloosa and Walton County (LWVOWC), you take an active role in strengthening our democracy while making a meaningful impact
in our local community. As a member, you automatically belong to the League of Women Voters of Florida (LWVFL) and the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS), supporting education and advocacy at the local, state, and national levels.
Through participation in League projects, you provide valuable community service, deepen your understanding of key civic issues,
and build lasting connections with others who share your interests and values.
Membership dues are offered on a sliding scale, with a recommended rate of $75 per person and a minimum of $20.
Auto-renewal is available for your convenience. Memberships renew on the anniversary of your join date, and you will receive advance notice before any charge. Auto-renew settings can be updated or canceled at any time.

Membership is open to everyone age 16 and older—including men, who have been members of the League since 1974.
Our membership system is managed at the national level by the League of Women Voters to
ensure a unified process for members across the country.
Dues are shared among the national League of Women Voters (LWV), the League of Women Voters of Florida (LWVFL), and the League of Women Voters of Okaloosa and Walton Counties (LWVOWC), with 20% supporting our local League.
Tax Deductibility: Only the portion of dues allocated to the local League (20%) is tax-deductible.
