League of Women Voters of Okaloosa and Walton Counties


When you join the League of Women Voters of Okaloosa and Walton County (LWVOWC), you take an active role in defending democracy and empowering voters, making a meaningful impact in our local community.
As a member, you automatically belong to the League of Women Voters of Florida (LWVFL) and the League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS), supporting education and voter advocacy at local, state, and national levels.
Membership dues are offered on a sliding scale, with a recommended rate of $75 per person and a minimum of $20.
Auto-renewal is available for your convenience. Memberships renew on the anniversary of your join date, and you will receive advance notice before any charge. You can update or cancel your auto-renew settings at any time.

Membership is open to everyone age 16 and older—including men, who have been part of the League of Women Voters since 1974. Our membership system is managed at the national level by the League of Women Voters to ensure a unified process for members across the country.
Dues are allocated among the national League of Women Voters (LWV), the League of Women Voters of Florida (LWVFL), and the League of Women Voters of Okaloosa and Walton Counties (LWVOWC), with 20% directly supporting our local League.
Tax Deductibility: Only the portion of dues allocated to the local League (20%) is tax-deductible.
